He met Yūshi Inaba in their third year of Elementary School. He is also from a very rich family, he always brings gifts and food to the people in the apartment as a thank you for taking good care of his boyfriend, Yushi Inaba. He is also seen having trips in different countries such as Australia and England.

Yūshi Inaba is his best friend since they were children. He is very caring towards Yushi as he is always worried about him. In chapter 110 of the manga, it is heavily implied that they are more than friends.
Kuri is a ghost that he doesn't mind hanging out with and sometimes spoils him with stuffed toys.
